The Express-News refused to run an SAPOA ad in this Sunday’s paper. The ad had hard facts that call into question City talking points. At the same time, they ran an ad from the Chamber of Commerce.

They claimed it required “fact checking“.

Have they “fact checked” every data point that Sheryl Sculley gave them?
Do they treat all people buying ad space like this?
Did they “fact check” ads from auto dealers, cell phone companies, and furniture stores?
Did they “fact check” Rey Saldana and Ron Nirenberg’s editorial statements?

Doubtful. We wil post the ad soon. Stay tuned to see what the City Manager’s newspaper didn’t want to run.
